eye'm the offspring of frank & lilith/can't grasp my nature/then here's a glimpse in it/eye've been likened to storms and ordeals/but at least eye make u feel/eye'm real/pops did it his way/they say moms was a freak/he liked cigars and amber liquids/she wasn't bout turn the other cheek/he was headstrong/she was wild/were you expecting anything less for the self proclaimed child/eye don't know how to be anything less than myself/can't comprise or eye'd be someone else/tried that before/at my own expense/by the time those loves were over/eye was spent/bent near broken/but eye was alive/had survived/lived to do it all again/only wiser/braver/slower/eye can't pretend/that now eye don't know eye have to be my own greatest friend/that's why eye'ma do my way/from beginning to end...
