Fair

let's be clear/fair...even/you left on your own terms/with barely a backwards glance in my direction/your arrogance lacked discretion/or regard/for me/the one who held you in highest regards/eye won't allow for playing tit for tat relentlessly/endlessly/that's not my way/eye pray that there be healing here/but if the rifts are not repaired/eye'm now prepared/to release the fear of loss/loss is inevitable/hurt...unavoidable/but suffering is optional/and eye choose joy/one breath at a time/any hint of sadness eye change my mind/life is a series of direction/redirections/paying attention/to the self/let's be clear/eye do have more than enough love to share/more than enough love to receive/eye will not be deceived/even if I want desperately to believe illusions/and dream of tomorrows together/eye've come this far/survived this pain/and eye remain/somehow open/finally/on terms of my own makings....
